CPL Class (Concealed Pistol License)
Welcome to Flushing Rifle & Pistol Club's CPL (Concealed Pistol License) Training Class page. Located in Flushing, Michigan, we offer comprehensive training to help you obtain your CPL license and enhance your firearm skills responsibly and safely. This class, is a comprehensive training program designed to meet the legal requirements for obtaining a CPL in Michigan. Instructed by certified NRA instructors, this course ensures participants are proficient in safe gun handling and marksmanship.
This class meets the requirements for the CPL in the state of Michigan.

OUR GOAL IS TO OFFER THE BEST CPL TRAINING AVAILABLE
QUALIFIER/WARM-UP: This is the Qualifier segment. You will be shooting at a distance of
21 ft., on a target 8” x 11”. You must demonstrate safe firearm handling and shooting skills. The
The following is required for the qualifier: Firearm, 30 rds of ammunition, ear and eye protection.
Bring a firearm and magazines unloaded, in a pistol case. NOTE: You Must Transport
ammunition separate from the firearm.
LECTURE: This is an all-Classroom segment. You will cover all the topics required by the
NRA, included in this instruction is the legal requirement of Michigan.
RANGE: This is the range segment. Equipment needed: 2 magazines (semi-automatic pistol) or
2 speed loaders (for revolvers) 150 rounds of ammunition. A strong side holster (OWB) and
heavy belt. Ear and Eye protection mandatory.
You must attend all 3 sessions to receive the NRA Certificate.

REGISTRATION/GUN CHECK -IN 7:45am-8:00am Please be prompt
QUALIFIER/WARM-UP: 8:00am – 9:30am Firearm and 30 + rounds of ammunition
LECTURE: 9:30am – 1:30pm Lecture, Pizza furnished by FRPC
RANGE: 2:00pm - 6:00pm Range, 150 rounds

CPL renewals are available following State of Michigan guidelines.
3 hours of legal and lecture and 1 hour of range. Certificate awarded on completion.
